  • World Hijab Day is February 1 every year. USC reporter Intisar Seraaj created a display area for students to stop by and learn about hijab and try a hijab on.   • NPR Next Generation Radio -From March 13 to March 17, I worked with Doug Mitchell and Traci Tong of NPR Next Generation Radio to produce a multimedia radio piece about immigrants’ first days in America. I was chosen along with five other college students in Los Angeles County. I also worked with Elizabeth Aguilera of CALMatters as my mentor.View my radio piece and story here.
